At Jolly Jesters we encourage involvement of families and collaborative partnerships with the community as this helps maximize available resources and reinforce learning.

Our emphasis is on inclusion, we endeavour to provide an environment where every child and parent is welcomed. We hold parent/staff interviews at regular intervals to chat about your little one’s development and give you an opportunity to talk to staff. Parents are kept informed about their child’s day.

Sarah Douglas – Educational Psychologist

‘My 2 children have attended Jolly Jesters for the last 3 years for day care, preschool and after school provision.  I have always found the staff helpful and knowledgeable and they have provided a varied and stimulating environment. Within preschool all themes of the curriculum are clearly thought out and presented using a wide range of resources. For both my children preschool in Jolly Jesters has been a very positive experience where they have made friends in a happy, nurturing environment.’

Sandra Zust

“My two children had the privilege of completing their pre-school years with the family, that is, Jolly Jesters. As a stepping stone into my children’s vital educational years Jolly Jesters provided them with a caring, nurturing and encouraging environment. This has given them both a positive outlook on attending and enjoying school.

I feel very fortunate that I had such vibrant and positive people looking after my children-each and every one of them is a credit to their chosen careers and I am always extremely happy to let people know what pre-school my children attended and how wonderful I thought they were.

Still today we miss Jolly Jesters and remember them with a smile.”

Tracey Dunlop – Parents of 3 children

“Thank you everyone for the last 10 years if childcare and friendship. We both really appreciate all the hard work the team put in to looking after our children. We have been able to go to work knowing that they have been in safe and caring hands.”

Mrs Corbett – Baby unit and pre-school

My child has settled extremely well… she is gaining in confidence and improving her social skills. She understands the behavior that is expected of her, and loves the praise given to her and the rewards system used. A very welcoming environment where parents participation encouraged, lots of event to attend throughout the year, and visits from parents linked to themes. My child is extremely happy and the staff genuinely cares about her happiness, take time to listen to and deal with any issues. Organisation is good with regular newsletters, notes informing parents about what’s happening.

Parent of a Pre-School Child – Bailey Ryan

“We just wanted to send a card to express our thanks for everything during the first Pre-School term. We are thrilled at our son’s progress, his enthusiasm towards Pre-school and the girls and his new found confidence! There has been so much organised since September – the wedding was just amazing! It was great for me as a parent to see all their wee art displays and understand why there was so much interest taken into all of our eye colours for a start! I fully understand how much work and organisation goes into an event such as the wedding. Between the wedding, the library visit, the parents family fun evening, the lunch with the children and the pantomime visit and not forgetting the day to day running of the nursery, we are so pleased! Well done to everyone!”
